Due to the lack of railway lines in the region, buses are the most commonlu used means of transport to and from Latronico. Latronico is served daily by bus connections to: Potenza, Maratea, Salerno-Napoli and other major italian cities.

Latronicois not served by the Italian State Railways (FS). The nearest stations are: Sapri Station (km 55), Maratea Station (km 50) and Policoro-Tursi Station (km 65).
